The Story To Tell: ALBRECHT OLLENDIEK Couture

If only these clothes could talk the stories they could tell ...

Just some days before leaving for Paris Haute Couture Week to visit wonderful couture shows like Atelier VERSACE, DIOR, Giambattista Valli, Zuhair Murad, ARMANI Privé, and attending the (always) amazing VALENTINO Couture, I had the great pleasure to visit their showroom Place de Vendôme for little preview of the spring/summer 2014 couture collection, for what will be presented today at 6:00 pm in Paris!

Albeit, these days before I relished an exceptional couture moment with Albrecht Ollendiek in his Frankfurt based couture showroom. A very private appointment in a very private space of haute couture - Saalgasse 10, Frankfurt am Main (Germany). So excited, because Albrecht is one of my favourite couturiers since more than 15 years and his annual couture shows at Schlosshotel Kronberg are renomed as a fashionable highlight in the Rhein-Main area.

Back to Frankfurt - "Fare the well my Highlands" titled Albrecht Ollendiek his 2014 Couture collection which was presented recently at this mystic Château near Frankfurt. Inspired from the novel by Emily Brontë 'Wuthering Heights' written between October 1845 and June 1846, and widely regarded as a classic of English literatur ... enjoy these 1st views of Albrechts's showroom.

More Couture To Love ...

The elegance and power of the contemporary goddess ... "A juxtaposition of glamour and mystery, with cinched-in poise meeting the fluidity and provocation of Grace Jones. Different ways with draping: sculpted and controlled to highlight the lines of sleek tailoring, or liberated and sensual for fluid silk jersey dresses."

"It doesn't matter what you wear. It is how you wear." - Albrecht Ollendiek's philosophy describes very feminine and sensual silhouettes inspired by the 'Fin-de-Siècle', re-styled at the same time in an contemporary and modern way.
