In December 2012 American designer Tom Ford has announced the opening of his second store in Paris, in an exclusive franchise agreement with local retailer, Simon Ibgui of Sarl VSI. Marking the first time Ford’s womenswear line will be available in the French capital, the three-storey 5,800 square foot flagship will encompass both the designer’s men’s and women’s ready to wear collections in addition to accessories, made-to-measure custom pieces, jewellery, eyewear and the range of Tom Ford fragrances. Located on Rue Saint Honoré in the corner of historic Rue Cambon, the space is the product of Ford’s vision in collaboration with interior designer Bill Sofield, and features Bleu de Savoie marble flooring, beaver rugs, polished chrome and macassar and ebony wood fixtures.
